Introduction
Welcome to the New Wheelworx FASTLANE Half marathon & 10km. We are really excited to launch this New running race located in Dublin on the 29th of September. Start time 9.30am
I guess the clue is in the name ‘FASTLANE’…. We believe that this race will be a flier.
It is also an ideal preparation race for the DublinMarathon which takes place at the end of October. Fits in nicely with your training plan to run 21.1kms. Or just do it for it’s PB potential….
MEDALS: We have a new bespoke medal for this race
This race has an entry limit. We expect it will be popular!!
The race is located along the scenic settings of the Grand Canal and around the newly surfaced perimeter of Grange Castle business park. It has that country feel on the edge of the city. It is a flat course with long straight lines. The route has an elevation gain of 27m. Not bad eh…..
Start time 9.30am
Here is a visual from MapmyRun of the elevation. You’ll notice it isn’t pancake flat but judging by the elevation line - there is nothing major in the hill department.
What does that red elevation line look like in the real world? Click on the video below to see the route
